Say goodbye to the cookie cutter blog! I have a new site, www.ashleygentryphotography.com that is still under construction so keep checking back for updates. My very talented graphic designer sister is coming to visit next week and will be revamping the site...I'm very excited!

I am also going to start posting some of our daily life there...hope you don't mind! I'm hoping it will challenge me to start keeping the camera with me daily. I got so much out of the photo a day challenge I did last winter and need to put aside the busy daily stuff and stop missing these great moments with my own little one (before I have 2 to keep up with in a few months!)

I had the priviledge of photographing a sweet 3 month old little man yesterday afternoon. His mother and I were in the same sorority at Auburn and her husband is from this area and went to the same high school as Phil. Sam was a joy and so patient with me! I haven't had a chance to go through all the pictures yet, but I had to go ahead and post this one sneak peek! Isn't he a handsome little one!

So by now you've probably realized I'm not doing much photography these days with the exception of a few friend's requests and my sweet little girl. I originally thought I would get back in to it after Emma Cate was a few months old, but I cherish my time with her so much and I just haven't had the desire to start back. I do hope that one day I will want to return, but for now, you'll just have to enjoy the pictures of my sweet one on our family blog.

I know I have not updated in awhile and I apologize! I am taking a little break at the moment as I am just a few short weeks away from my due date and my belly is so large it is hard to maneuver with a camera around babies especially...getting down on the floor is a lot more difficult now!

Birth Announcement

She knew pretty much what she wanted and I discovered it wasn't too hard to create in Photoshop.
